Since their inception as a lockdown solo project, Johann Zeijl have been captivating audiences not only in their hometown Cologne but also across the border in the Netherlands and Belgium. Their music transcends borders, resonating with listeners on an international scale.
By now the group is comprising three multi talented musicians who seamlessly sing and master their instruments: Guitar and Synthesizer by Dietrich Dmitriev, Bass Guitar and Vocals by Jan Liesefeld – Johann Zeijls charismatic voice is at the forefront of their sound. His charismatic stage presence and emotive delivery create a magnetic force that draws audiences into the band’s enchanting world.
With the corona restrictions lifted in 2023, Johann Zeijl were able to get back to what they do best: playing live and taking audiences on an exhilarating sonic odyssey, transcending the realm of music to evoke dreamy solitary dancing and ignite powerful moments of collective energy.
In many concerts throughout that year, Johann Zeijl have optimised the ex-studio project to become a full grown live show and is ready to bring it on bigger stages in 2024.
While drawing inspiration from legendary bands such as The Doors, Tame Impala, and Parcels, Johann Zeijl have meticulously crafted a sound that is unmistakably their own.
